The animal cell does look different from the plant cell. A plant cell is a bit more complex. Instead of just a cell membrane, it has a both a cell membrane and a cell wall. The plant also has one big vaculoe, as appose to the plant, with various smaller vacuoles. a plant cell is also different in the way that a plant is an autotroph, and can make it's on food through the process of photosynthesis. Animals and anything that has cells and isn't a plant, is a heterotrophs, relying on other sourced for food and energy.
